The local 212 Fast Fund mission: To provide Milwaukee Area Technical College students experiencing economic emergencies with rapid financial support and resources so they remain enrolled and achieve academic success, to promote public and MATC policies impacting MATC students, and to spur workforce development that enhances the greater Milwaukee area.

Our Impact

The FAST Fund is run mostly by a volunteer staff of MATC retirees. We employ one full-time Executive Director and have 4 part-time staff members. We are much more than just our staff: our student volunteers, fellows, past MATC faculty, community partners, and so many others keep us alive. All of our support is funded through tax-deductible voluntary donations!
