Every dollar raised here goes directly to Milwaukee Area Technical College students facing an emergency that would otherwise end their education — a car repair, a utility shut-off, a month of groceries, a laptop that died two weeks before finals.
These are the costs that never appear on a tuition bill and end just as many educations.
For ten years the FAST Fund has stepped in fast, without a mountain of paperwork, and without asking students to prove they deserve help. We started with 26 students. We now reach nearly 3,000 a year, and 89% of the students we help graduate or stay enrolled.
